All schools have trainers on duty to treat and care for injuries, rehabilitate athletes, and also prevent future injuries.
Injuries can be prevented by respecting the rules of the game.  Rules are made for a reason - to keep players safe.  As you can see by the graph below, Girl's lacrosse does not have a high injury rate compared to some other sports.  However, injuries do occur in lacrosse and it is important to be informed of the symptoms experienced with common injuries and how to properly care for them.
